Pediatric Grand Rounds References Now Available

Each week librarians at the Matas library attend grand rounds for the Department of Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics. EndNote for iPhone and iPad

Big news for any EndNote users! Thompson has finally released an app for EndNote & EndNote Web:

New versions of study aids & CME - Henry Stewart Talks, EXAM MASTER OnLine, ClinicalKey & ACP's MKSAP 16 Self-Assessment Print set

Studying for the USMLE?  EXAM MASTER OnLine just released a new USMLE Step 1 practice exam that offers carefully selected premium questions based on user performance and degree of difficulty. While based on our previous well-known Step 1 practice exams, this new version contains psychometrically evaluated questions.  Tulane users will still need to register for a personal account in EXAM MASTER OnLine access this new content.

Rudolph Matas Library is pleased to offer the latest print edition of the American College of Physicians' (ACP) MKSAP 16 Medical Knowledge Self-Assessment Program for 2 day checkout from the Matas Library Commons.  There are two parts with  10 individual volumes.  AMA PRA Category 1 Credits are available until July 31, 2015.

 The Matas Commons has a number of student recommended programmed texts from such series as BRS, Case Files, First Aid and more.  Ask for these books at the Matas Information Desk.  Books in the Commons area check out for 2 days.  Holds are allowed for books currently checked out.

Global Health Summit produced by the Student Government Association of the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine


The  Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine’s annual open house and the 2nd annual Global Health Summit are scheduled for March 6-8, 2013.  The open house will include tours of the departments and classrooms, a crawfish boil at beautiful Audubon Park, and a number of interactive Q&A events.  The second annual Global Health Summit will explore the theme of  #OneWorldProblems, highlighting the interconnectedness among health concerns and issues across the globe.
